Time to wake up...

I've been living in SF for a month. My life long dream of living in the city has finally come to fruition and yet I find myself already asking "what next?". I haven't even explored all the nooks and crannies of my neighborhood yes but I guess that's just my personality type...I'm always looking for the next thrill, the next great adventure, and the next chapter in my life.

Living alone has been interesting. There was definitely an adjustment period but I'm getting more and more used to it everyday. The first week I spent just nesting my place up. Once I finished I found myself twiddling my thumbs. I always romanticized the idea of living in the city, exploring cafes, restaurants, museums, galleries, parks, beaches, lounges and bars. The mystery of meeting new people and venturing to uncharted territories. The idea of having my OWN place where I can freely roam naked if I so choose and experiment with my culinary endeavors. I always imagined it would be great flying solo but so far I haven't really managed to get off the ground. I wake up everyday at 6am, shower, ride my bike to the cal train by 7am, get off at my stop by 7:40, cruise in the office by 8am, work till about 5 or sometimes 6, hop on the train, ride home by 6 or 7 respectively, cook/go out to eat/work out, spend some down time lounging/watching tv/tinkering with music and then shower and hit the sac by 10-11. Monday through Friday that's my life in a nut shell. The weekend is my only time I have to explore SF but it's also my only time to unwind at home. If the weather permits this weekend I am determined to ride my bike through the Mission and see what it's all about.

I've been riding my bike a lot which has been the highlight of SF so far. Right when I exit my apartment I get to strap on my helmet, lock in my bike and jet downhill passing cars, trucks and buses surround by the ancient towering buildings of Frisco. It's a 10 minute adrenaline rush I get every morning to kick start my day. My cup of coffee.

I've been on a creative hiatus for way too long. It is truly senseless to be this uncreative. Time to wake up and go back to doing what I love doing most. 2 tracks will be up and recorded by the end of the month. Photos with my new camera will be posted. They both may not be pretty to the ear or eye but they will be up.
