I'm going to type as much as I can in 5 minutes. I've started law school. So far I love it. It's challenging due to the fact that I have terrible study habits, but the good news is that I am completely engrossed by the material and engaged in class. Now if I can just stop going to bed at 2 am watching Jumong and focus more time on my studies I'll be golden.
When I graduate I want to start off by working in the public sector and hopefully make a positive impact on my community and society in general. So far I've looked into some API organizations that have legal counsel positions where I could represent underprivileged families, minorities and hiv/AIDS victims in the court of law. Even though its three years down the road I'm excited about the opportunities that will open up once I receive my JD and pass the bar.
Summer is almost over and sadly I had no summer fling. Come to think of it I haven't had any type of romance in my life since last year. I suppose it's for the best but I miss being in a "you miss that loving feeling" (cue the music) state of mind.
